Zhizhen Zhang has been doing really well in the Shanghai Masters tennis tournament. He beat Richard Gasquet and Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the first two rounds, and then he played against Brandon Nakashima in the third round. Zhang defeated Nakashima in just one hour and 24 minutes 7-6(2), 6-2. This is a huge because he’s the first Chinese player to make it to the round of 16 in this tournament.

Before coming to Shanghai, Zhang also won a Gold medal at the Asian Games, which gave him a lot of confidence. If he wins one more match, his ATP world ranking could reach a career-high of around 47th.
On the other hand, Hubert Hurkacz, who is ranked 17th in the world, has won two matches in a row in straight sets, which is not something he does often.

Considering Zhang’s current momentum, I believe he has a good chance of winning at least one set against Hurkacz, and maybe even beating him, possibly in a tiebreak.
